sixth central pay commision-pre2006 pensioners
sixth central pay commision in their report said that revised pension of those who retired before 1-1-2006 canot be less than 50 percent of minimum of new pay band and gradepay in which a person was holding before his retirement. But now as per the government letter dated 3-o-08 it is clarifird by the ministry that maximum service of 33 years is required for getting this benifit.Scpc has removed this barrier for the pension and 50% of last pay drawn is taken into account. pleased comment.
